OUT on the Water
The latest temporary exhibit explores the history of outboard motors through several examples from the Museum's collection. Motors range from a 1922 Evinrude ELTO to the latest in technology - an Evinrude E-Tec (soon to be on display courtesy of Rockport Marine). The highlight of the exhibit is a video featuring 100 years of Evinrude. So come join us OUT on the Water!

Thursday, May 22nd, The Texas Maritime Museum will host the 12th Annual Festival of Wine and Food Patron Party. The Theme for the 2008 Rockport Festival of Wine and Food Patron Party is "Up, Up, and Away." Take a journey through the California Wine Country with a delicious seated dinner, outstanding Silent Auction, and dancing to the music of "The Grooves" from Austin. Saturday, May 24-25th from 4-11 pm, The Texas Maritime Museum will host the 12th Annual Festival of Wine and Food . Enjoy a "Grape Escape" and sample wines, beers, and culinary delights from around the world. You can also enjoy music throughout the festival.
